Historic Columbian Park is home to the second oldest zoo in Indiana, an aquatic center, interactive playground, kiddie rides and baseball stadium.
Established in 2004 in Battle Ground, the Prophetstown State Park is one of Indiana's newest designated areas. More than 1,900 acres (770 ha) of land can be explored by visitors through the numerous hiking, camping, biking and bird watching areas. A playground and picnic areas are also found in the park.
A 1,500-seat, outdoor amphitheater is featured in the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park in Lafayette. The theater is surrounded by grassy areas and is able to accommodate music concerts, group picnics, receptions, church services and much more. Also available are restrooms, meeting areas, a ticket office and stage lighting. To get to the theater, go north on the I-65 until State Road 43 (Exit 178) and go south for 1.25 mi (2 km).
